Smoked Atlantic Salmon Hors d’oeuvre sandwiches
Ingredients:
1 large loaf of French bread
8oz (227 gr) soft cream cheese
1 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
5oz (141.75 gr) Comeau’s cold smoked Atlantic salmon thinly
sliced
Half a cucumber, thinly sliced
Red onions rings, sliced very thin
One large tomato, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. of capers
Freshly ground pepper
Directions:
Warm the French bread in
the oven. Sliced it lengthwise and remove a small amount of bread
from each side. Mix dill herbs and cream cheese together, and softened
in microwave. Spread each half with softened dill cream cheese.
Layer the smoked salmon, cucumber, onion rings, tomatoes and capers.
Grind some black pepper over filling. Close and slice diagonally
into individual servings, 2 inches thick.
